SAFETY GUIDE
 DO
1. ALWAYS handle and store wheels in a careful manner.
2. ALWAYS visually inspect all wheels before mounting for possible damage.
3. ALWAYS make sure operating speed established for machine does not exceed wheel speed.
4. ALWAYS check mounting flanges for equal and correct diameter.
5. ALWAYS use mounting blotters when supplied with wheels.
6. ALWAYS keep work rest properly adjusted within 1/8" of wheel face.
7. ALWAYS wear safety glasses or some type of eye protection equipment.
8. ALWAYS use a safety guard covering at least one-half of the wheel diameter
 
9. ALWAYS allow newly mounted wheels to run at operating speed, with guard in place, for at
least one minute before starting to grind.
DO NOT
1. DON'T use a wheel that has been dropped.
2. DON'T force a wheel onto the spindle or alter the hole size of the wheel.
3. DON'T exceed maximum operation speed established for the wheel
4. DON'T use dirty, nicked, warped or sprung mounting
5. DON'T tighten the mounting nut excessively flanges.
6. DON'T grind on the side of the wheel unless the wheel is specifically designed for that purpose.
7. DON'T start machine without safety guard in place.
8. DON'T jam work into the wheel whenever a grinder is started.
9. DON'T stand directly in front of a grinding wheel.
10. DON'T grind or cut material for which the wheel is not designed.

 requirements and O.S.H.A. regulations.  Use abrasive wheels on proper guarded machines only.  DO NOT install
Type 27 and 28 wheels on any sanding machines.
